Fondue and surf

Two things that just don't go together, but that's what we did this past weekend (separately of course!) First we went to CT to celebrate my mom's birthday! We all went out to the Melting Pot, which just opened up there. It was so good! Funny that we never went to the Melting Pot all those years we were in the Asheville area. Everyone was able to come except for Jim who had to stay home with the little ones due to a babysitter bailout. We had a great evening of catching up and eating and eating and eating! Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning for work, but it was great to be able to celebrate my mom and all she is to us and all she does for us.
We love you so much, Mom!

We both had Monday off so we went up to NH and Adam surfed with our buddy Ed. It was a good morning, but then the waves died so we just hung out in the afternoon. Here's a few pictures.

This is my favorite sequence of them almost killing each other!

that's so crazy how they ran into eachother! Happy birthday to your mom The women in your family are all so beautiful (not that the men aren't but I'm married so...:)

Nice job catching the almost-collision on camera. Isn't it too cold to surf now? I guess boys don't care and they have wet suits. I hope one of these days you get to have a little boy just like Adam to raise. You would make a really great boys-moma. (girls too but I think it is harder to handle boys...early on)

So many adventures! I have yet to go to the melting pot, do you recommend it for an anniversary dinner?? Or is it not romantic enough? Our 4 yr is on in a weekish. We did however just make it to the Cheesecake factory and they have amazing food and amazing cheesecake! mmmm.
